MacBook Neo Giveaway — Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
The MacBook Neo Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Simply Computing Inc. (“Sponsor” or “Simply Computing”).
Sponsor mailing address: 203 - 1690 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6J 1X6
Giveaway contact email: sisters@simply.ca
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Giveaway is open only to individuals who are legal residents of British Columbia, Canada, and are at least 19 years of age when their entry becomes eligible.
2.2 Employees, officers and directors of Simply Computing, individuals directly involved in administering or promoting the Giveaway, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible.
For these Rules, “immediate family” means a spouse or common-law partner, parent, child or sibling. “Household members” means individuals living in the same household, whether related or not.
2.3 Entrants must satisfy the newsletter subscription requirements in Section 4 and all other requirements of these Terms & Conditions (“Rules”).
2.4 The Sponsor may request reasonable proof of age, British Columbia residency and identity before confirming a winner.
3. Giveaway Period
3.1 The Giveaway begins on October 19, 2026 and closes on November 30, 2026, at 23:59 Pacific Time (“Giveaway Period”).
3.2 The random draw will take place on December 1, 2026.
3.3 All times refer to local time in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Sponsor’s electronic records will determine whether an entry was received within the Giveaway Period.
4. How to Enter
4.1 No purchase or payment is required.
4.2 New subscribers: During the Giveaway Period, complete the Simply Computing newsletter sign-up form available at www.simply.ca, provide your first name and a valid email address, and actively give your consent to receive Simply Computing marketing emails.
4.3 Existing subscribers: Individuals already subscribed to the Simply Computing newsletter do not need to subscribe again. Existing subscribers who meet these Rules will automatically receive one entry.
4.4 To be included in the draw, entrants must remain subscribed to the Simply Computing newsletter through the draw on December 1, 2026. An individual who unsubscribes before the draw will not be included. Once an eligible entrant has been selected in a draw, subsequently unsubscribing will not affect that entrant’s ability to claim the prize, subject to the remaining requirements of these Rules.
4.5 Limit one entry per person across the entire Giveaway, regardless of the number of email addresses, forms, promotional channels or Simply Computing locations used. There is one shared prize pool for all participating locations and channels.
4.6 Repeated submissions do not provide additional entries. Ordinary duplicate submissions will be consolidated into one entry. Deliberate attempts to obtain additional entries through multiple identities, automated submissions or false information may result in disqualification.
4.7 Entries must contain accurate information and use an email address controlled by the entrant. A successful form submission alone does not establish eligibility or confirm that marketing consent has been recorded.
4.8 No social media purchase, follow, share or referral is required to enter.
5. Prize
5.1 There is one prize in total:
One brand-new MacBook Neo, in Indigo, with 256GB storage.
The approximate retail value is CAD $949.99.
5.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The winner may not request a different model, colour, configuration or other substitute.
5.3 Accessories, services and other items are not included unless expressly stated in these Rules.
5.4 The prize must be collected in person at a Simply Computing store, as described in Section 8.
6. Winner Selection and Odds
6.1 On December 1, 2026, the Sponsor will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entries.
6.2 The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries, including entries from qualifying existing newsletter subscribers.
6.3 A selected entrant is a potential winner only until the Sponsor has verified eligibility and the entrant has completed the winner confirmation requirements.
7. Notification and Winner Confirmation
7.1 The Sponsor will send the potential winner a notification email at the email address associated with their entry within seven calendar days after the applicable draw.
7.2 The potential winner must reply and confirm their intention to claim the prize within seven calendar days after the notification email is sent. The notification will state the exact response deadline.
7.3 Before being confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant must:
-
Demonstrate that they satisfy the eligibility requirements;
-
Correctly answer, without assistance or a calculator, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor; and
-
Complete a reasonable declaration confirming eligibility and compliance with these Rules.
7.4 The initial seven-day deadline is for replying and confirming the intention to claim the prize. It is not the deadline for visiting a store. The Sponsor will communicate any subsequent verification and skill-testing deadlines directly to the potential winner and provide a reasonable opportunity to complete them.
7.5 A potential winner will be disqualified if they fail to respond by the stated deadline, decline the prize, fail to satisfy eligibility or confirmation requirements, or are found to have violated these Rules.
7.6 If a potential winner is disqualified, the Sponsor will randomly select another potential winner from the remaining eligible entries. The same notification, response and confirmation procedures will apply. This process will continue until a winner is confirmed or no eligible entries remain.
7.7 Entrants are responsible for maintaining access to their email account and checking their inbox and spam or junk folders.
7.8 Simply Computing will not require a purchase, payment or fee to claim the prize.
8. Prize Collection
8.1 The confirmed winner may choose to collect the prize at any Simply Computing store.
8.2 Collection must be arranged with the Sponsor in advance. The Sponsor will coordinate availability at the selected location and agree on a reasonable collection date with the winner.
8.3 The winner must collect the prize personally and present reasonable identification to confirm their identity. Collection information will be used only as necessary to verify the winner and deliver the prize.
8.4 Shipping and delivery are not provided. Travel and other personal expenses associated with collection are the winner’s responsibility. No store purchase is required.
8.5 If the winner cannot attend the agreed collection appointment, they should contact the Sponsor to arrange another reasonable date.
9. Winner Announcement and Publicity
9.1 After eligibility and winner confirmation requirements are completed, Simply Computing will announce the confirmed winner in its newsletter.
9.2 By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the publication of their first name, last initial and city of residence for this announcement.
9.3 Any photograph, video, interview or additional promotional use of the winner’s personal information will require separate consent. Participation in such additional publicity is not a condition of receiving the prize.
10. Privacy and Marketing Emails
10.1 Personal information will be collected, used and disclosed as reasonably necessary to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, contact selected entrants and provide the prize.
10.2 Simply Computing’s handling of personal information is subject to applicable privacy laws and its Privacy Policy:

10.3 Marketing email consent is requested through the newsletter sign-up process. Acceptance of these Rules alone does not constitute marketing consent.
10.4 Subscribers may withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in Simply Computing marketing emails. Section 4.4 explains how unsubscribing before the draw affects entry eligibility.
10.5 Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent the Sponsor from sending communications necessary to administer an existing entry or prize claim, to the extent permitted by law.
10.6 Giveaway and privacy enquiries may be directed to the contact listed in Section 1.
11. Fair Administration
11.1 The Sponsor may disqualify individuals reasonably determined to have submitted fraudulent entries, impersonated another person, used automated entry methods, interfered with the Giveaway or otherwise materially violated these Rules.
11.2 The Sponsor may take reasonable steps to verify entries and investigate suspected misconduct. Sharing a household, internet connection or device will not, by itself, establish a violation.
11.3 If fraud, a serious technical failure or circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control materially compromise the Giveaway, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel the affected portion, subject to applicable law.
11.4 Any material change will be announced on the Giveaway webpage. Where reasonably possible, the Sponsor will preserve valid entries and award the prize through a fair process consistent with these Rules.
12. Technical Issues and Liability
12.1 Entrants should ensure that the information they submit is complete and accurate. The Sponsor cannot guarantee uninterrupted website or email service.
12.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor is not responsible for entries or communications lost, delayed, corrupted or misdirected because of circumstances outside its reasonable control.
12.3 Nothing in these Rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
13. Apple Disclaimer
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, does not endorse, and is not involved in the administration of this Giveaway.
14. Governing Law
14.1 The Giveaway is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia.
14.2 Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction provided by applicable law.
14.3 If any provision of these Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
By entering or accepting an automatic entry in the Giveaway, participants agree to these Rules, subject to applicable law.
